Early Orthodonics

Beginning treatment early before bad bite actually develops allows us to intercept any developing tooth/jaw growth related issues. The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of orthodontic problems or no later than age 7. At this early age, most of the times orthodontic treatment may not be necessary, however continuous monitoring can help intercept any developing bite related issues.

Considering ALL consultations are complimentary, starting early growth monitoring under orthodontist’s supervision can prevent bigger problem’s from developing that may require extraction of permanent teeth, damage to permanent teeth, surgery to correct growth related problems and can also help reduce treatment time considerably.
